Cycle

Following on from a series of highly successful club nights, on the 9th of August, the Night Pelotón crew will emerge in the daylight to tackle the road to the ‘Venice of the North’ on two wheels.

Riding recycled bikes, we will make our way from St Albans to Harwich ferry port, before riding from the Hook of Holland to Amsterdam central.

The route is 220km’s in length, which we aim to cover over a very ambitious (for us) day and a half. The first leg will see us riding through the rolling Essex countryside 135km’s to the ferry port, after which we will be treated to the flat but windy cycle paths of Holland.

Naturally there has been little physical preparation for such a task - hence this will be a stern test for the boys. The reward for the toil however will be festival in the city, which will pay host to some tired legs as we celebrate our adventure.

Please send your spare pennies our way as we do this as always in aid of Mind charity. Peace, Love & Pelotón
